Northeast Division Awards
The Northeast Division recognizes outstanding and significant contributions to the Division and the Marine Corps League by presenting three awards at the Division Conference each year.
The (NED) Marine of the Year (MOY) and the (NED) Associate Member of the Year (AMOY) awardees are determined by the Northeast Division MOY/AMOY Selection Committees. These committes convene at the NED Conference and select one awardee from nominations received from each Department within the Division. The awards are normally presented at the Conference by the MOY/AMOY Committees.
The Northeast Division has a written SOP that governs the MOY/AMOY selection process.
The SOP is available using this LINK.
The Victor T. Fischer Award award is presented at the Conference by the Northeast Division Vice Commandant to a member of the Division staff best exemplifying the principles of the United States Marine Corps, the Marine Corps League and Marine Victor T. Fisher.
